Foodie Friday

I made vegetable soup today, and had a wedge salad on the side.

Vegetable Soup:

Vegetable boullion cubes
Cannellini beans
Frozen mixed veggies
Salt & Pepper
Shell macaroni

Last week Nancy at Southern Lady posted a wedge salad, and it looked so good I decided to fix one too.


  1. The Husband and I are always ordering the Wedge Salad...I've never tried to make one, maybe now I will!

  2. It all looks good. I love a wedge salad with bacon bits, red onion and blue cheese dressing...yum!

  4. Soup and salad dinners are often my favorite dinners-- and many times it's what I order out too!

  5. Tammy this looks so good!! I'm going to make a wedge salad for J. I think he would love it. I have a difficult time getting him to eat his veggies.

  6. My husband loves a wedge salad with bleu cheese dressing. Sadly, he does not consider soup a meal--just a first course! Yours looks delicious.

  7. Love the soup -- and I also like the lettuce wedge salad -- although I don't do it too often (we prefer baby greens) but I may just have to serve it next week!

    This is my first Foodie Friday and thank you for sharing your recipe for veggie soup and the wedge salad, my parents used to make that and I had forgotten about it.

  9. I just made soup a few days ago, too. I used spirals and beef broth base. It didn't last very long! I will try yours as well. It looks and sounds delish! Thanks!

  10. Love this soup and it is healthy and low calorie & I love your plates for the salad. They are so pretty and colorful like the soup.
