Blue Monday...Redneck Flowerpot

Welcome to Blue Monday, hosted by Sally at Smiling Sally. Please visit her blog for a list of other participants for this event.

A while back Rhoda at Southern Hospitality had a post about Redneck Recycling. You can check out her post here.

A while back, when Mr. Maison and I were out running some errands, we saw this blue toilet sitting in a yard with flowers planted in it. Yikes! You can't get much more redneck -- er, maybe make that blueneck -- than that! Anyway, I snapped a picture thinking it would make a funny Blue Monday post. I guess there's no accounting for some people's taste. LOL!

  1. Yikes! Don't you wonder about the thought processes that lead a person to make this kind of decision? :)

I think you may have started a new phrase with Blueneck.
That is certainly something you would not see everyday :)

  12. I haven't seen that particular type of gardening container in quite a long time ... and never a blue one! What a fun post!

Were you at all concerned that someone might not read carefully and assume the picture was from your own garden? ;)

Not that there would be anything wrong with having it in your garden ...
