Crockpot Wednesday & Foodie Friday

Welcome to Crockpot Wednesday and Foodie Friday! Please visit Debbie at Dining With Debbie, our hostess for Crockpot Wednesday, and Michael at Designs by Gollum, our hostess for Foodie Friday.
Today I made round steak in the crockpot. This same method/recipe would work well for a roast too. First I seared the meat.

Then I placed it in the crockpot. I mixed up a packet of onion soup mix, a can of cream of mushroom soup, a soup can of water, sherry, sliced mushrooms, and Kitchen Bouquet. I then poured it over the meat and cooked it on low for approximately seven hours.

And here's the end result.

And Lucy helped too!

  1. Looks yummy. Thanks Tammy.

  2. Love that plate! Looks like autumn is slipping in the back door.

  5. A quick and easy solution to the "what's for dinner" dilemma. It looks delicious. Have a wonderful day.

  6. This looks delicious and easy. It must be time to drag the crock pot out again! Thanks for sharing!

  7. I very rarely use the crock pot in the summer but I probably should take it out and try this recipe.

  8. Thanks for sharing. We're sharing peanut butter ideas and Elvis stories at diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com. I hope you will come join us. Or, join us for Crock Pot Wednesdays. Mister Linky will be ready for that on Tuesday.

  9. That is a lovely idea and any post that involves a cute dog will always bring me back!

  10. This looks like it could become a fav in my house. Good comfort food:)

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit!
