Welcome to Foodie Friday! Be sure to stop by our hostess for the event's blog, Designs by Gollum, to see what yumminess Michael has cooked up this week, and to visit the other participants.

This is some shrimp ceviche I made recently to take out on the boat. I served it in Tostito's bowl/scoop chips. I forgot my camera, so I had to take these with my cell phone.
I also made sangria again. While we liked this one, we preferred the peach sangria I made a while back. You can see that post/recipe HERE.
SHRIMP CEVICHE
frozen salad shrimp, thawed
diced cucumber, seeded
diced Roma tomatoes, seeded
diced red onion
diced mango
cilantro
fresh lime juice
This looks delicious, Tammy. Perfect for an outing on a boat--or anywhere. Thanks for your sweet wishes for my Sick Ones. They are fast asleep as I write this. I sure wish I hadn't bought that cabinet. :-(

ReplyDeleteI looked up your peach sangria and that looks and sounds devine.I am not a big fan of civiche althought I only made it once. Maybe it was because of the fact I made it with salmon.
ReplyDeleteI love ceviche and this looks nice and simple. Love the sangria in the mason jars, perfect for any short trip — like a picnic on the beach.
ReplyDeleteLet's see, tomorrow is Saturday and I hear the waves beckoning me.
This looks wonderful, Tammy. It's perfect for a day spent on the water. I love that peach sangria. I hope you are having a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteWater fun and good fun is such a good idea. Your cell phone camera takes nice photos too.
