Tweaking the Fireplace

I have just a small change I'm sharing this week. I tweaked my fireplace decorations a bit. Here's the before picture...


And here's the after picture. I changed out/added some candle holders, and added some glass pumpkins and a leaf garland to the mantel...




I'm also trying something different inside the fireplace...




I've been burning a yummy, licorice-scented Halloween candle from Colonial Candle...

    I really like the shadows that your glass pedestal candle things give off. Have to enlarge the picture to see them, very special.

    I have never heard of licorice scent....hmmmmm , I like red licorice..do they make that scent too ??
    I love your new mantel and the candles in the fireplace are pretty !

    I spent yesterday tweaking myself! Gets me in the mood to clean for some reason. We just put something in front of our fireplace and never use it. But you've given me some inspiration!
