Welcome to Tablescape Thursday! Please visit Susan at Between Naps on the Porch, our hostess for this event.
~~~
For this week's Tablescape Thursday I didn't do a traditional, dining-type tablescape, but rather vignettes with my two Halloween trees.
I have been haunting (pun intended!) eBay and Amazon in search of Halloween ornaments, and I've bought a ton. Mr. Maison is going to behead me if I buy one more ornament!
First off: Please ignore the ugly cords hanging down. Before we bought our house and remodeled the kitchen there was a peninsula cabinet here, and a place for a wall phone (remember those?!). Anyway...we have a devil of a time (another pun intended!) getting electricians, plumbers, dry-wallers, and such, so the ugly cords still dangle.
Would you care for some ghoulade?
Ghoulade not to your liking? Then have some mulled wine...
I love this cheeky little guy...
I followed Gollum's cue with this Halloween tree made of just twigs gathered in the yard...
I love these candy corn Kisses!
Don't forget your treat on the way out...
Gnarled black tree: Lenox
Flicker candle, candy bowl, votive holders and wall clings: Colonial Candle
Here's a treat for you: Colonial Candle is offering my readers a discount of $15 off an order of $60 or more from now until 12/31/09. Use promo code MAMAISON15 at checkout. It's no trick!
Cute post, Tammy! I love all your vignettes!
You found some cute and scary things, I love them all, and love the Halloween bowl
ReplyDeleteThese are some wonderfully scary decorations, Tammy. You've set them out in very creative ways.
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem with some cords at my kitchen desk. Stupid builders!! I intend to make a criss-crossed ribboned display board to hide them. Perhaps you could hang a picture over yours? Frustrating, I know.
I like your little Halloween trees. In fact, I used a Halloween tree for my tablescape too. Thanks for sharing. Happy TT and Happy Halloween to you!
ReplyDeleteLove your ornaments and trees ! That treat jar is cute !
ReplyDeleteKammy
