Tablescape Thursday...Dragonflies

Welcome to Tablescape Thursday! Please visit our queen of tablescapes, Susan at Between Naps on the Porch, to see what loveliness she has in store for us this week, and to see a list of other participants.

~~~
This week I've done a simple dragonfly tablescape on the blue bistro set. I found this cute dragonfly fabric at Hancock's earlier in the summer, and since I can barely sew a button, my sister-in-law Donna hemmed it into a little tablecloth and napkins for me. I used blue and green to tie in with the tablecloth, but it's got some purple in it too and I realized I have NO purple dishes at all! I will have to remedy that soon!
I also wanted to let my readers know that since I've been buying a TON of stuff from Colonial Candle, they would like to extend a discount code to all of you. For $15 off an order of $60 or more, use promotional code MAMAISON15.
The glasses have etched dragonflies and butterflies.
I had my eye on the salad plates at Marshall's for a while, and when they were reduced to $1 each, I snapped some up!
Candle Lantern is from Colonial Candle
Blue dinner plates, glasses and flatware are from Big Lots
Green salad plates are from Marshall's
Dragonfly napkin rings are Kim Seybert from Nieman Marcus
  24. Don't you just love Marshalls deals on plates and such? When I go in there, I make a beeline for that section. I love dragonflies. Couldn't believe you even found it on the glasses. And the additions to the napkins are the perfect touch. Guess I'll have to go visit Colonial Candles soon!
  25. Hi Tammy...
    Girlfriend, I just love your little blue bistro set...it's so pretty and makes a fabulous tablescape!!! Love, love, love your dragonfly theme! The dragonfly fabric that you had made into a table cloth and napkins is darling...love those bright greens and blues together! Ohhh...and you brought out that pretty blue in place settings too! I really do think those have got to be the prettiest blue goblets...oh, and to have the little butterflies and dragonflies etched on them...fabulous!!! I was "eyeing" those darling little dragonfly napkin rings too! It's all so pretty and down right charming, my friend! Thank you for sharing your beautifully set table with all of us today!
